I tell you how NORDIC RUNES can help you heal from narcissistic abuse š±
DISCLAIMER: this post is suitable for open minded readers, as well those interested in spirituality or already practicing any types of forms of magick, or paganism, so if you get triggered by othersās lives, this is NOT the post for you!
Now, having said this, I wanted to mention that if you like introspection and you KNOW you are self aware, you can use almost anything to help you guide yourself in your healing and recovery from narcissistic abuse.
Let me show you how Nordic runes in this example, can do the trick ...
This is actually going to be a post where I share some of my #ShowerThoughts, but I promise you to stay till the end because youāll see when it clicks!! š
So yesterday, before going to wash my hair for the second time as I was put too much hairspray from a photoshoot I had, I started to think of nature and relaxation...
Places we tend to automatically feel safe
And from nature, my mind went over to paganism and how (if you donāt know this yet about myself), I always had this connection to both Nordic and Slavic paganism. It fascinated me from my spiritual awakening as a teenager, and now itās a practice I use, along with others in my repertoire.
So from paganism in general, my mind wandered, then focusing on my own rune in specific, and the fact that I am always having mixed feelings about it...
Firstly because Iām a woman and naturally, at my core I tend to lean to a more feminine energy (and practices)... If I - for example - apply masculine forced, 24/7 hustling methods for my business, I found out that I easily tend to burn out.
My birth rune, is more masculine based.
Although also, I can say that somehow I do feel proud of it being mine... yet still doesnāt still relate to me fully? š¤š¤
Curious for answers, I decided to quickly check my family memberās birth runes too, and it did not make any sense either. I know they are the total OPPOSITE of what those runes portray. š
But then, a single thought (download) popped in my head:
āLife lesson on this incarnationā
And as I was drying my hair I was like WHAATTTT š¤Æš³ because NOW it made so much sense. Let me show you a quick example with my life:
As growing up, I always struggled putting boundaries, I was used by people many times, I just swam across the river flow, passively, not taking any decisions for myself or my life - I always allowed other people to lead for me, even if the choices were unjust and unfair. I never took any practical or rational decisions as I rather chose to daydream 24/7 before.
If you are quite knowledgeable about runes you can probably guess my birth rune by now, if not, whatever š ....
But the point IS that I believe your birth rune actually is the divine embodiment of the Life Lessons you came here to learn an embrace on this lifetime. It is the opposite energy you came here yo activate in yourself, within, to balance with your current, core energy.
Let's add another example, shall we? - letās say your birth rune is Othala (į). If you are born with this one, you might have a natural talent for understanding the importance of history, tradition, and the role of ancestry in shaping our lives.
You may also possess a deep connection to the land and the natural world.
HOWEVER, the downside of this is that you may face challenges such as becoming overly attached to the past or resistant to change (healing) or also struggle with a narrow view of cultural identity, risking prejudice, and should strive to appreciate and respect the diversity of other cultures.
And in my observation, maybe you donāt relate to the runeās meaning as you tend to respect other countries and call yourself a āchild of the worldā, yet you donāt relate to your country or cultures... in this case, this rune is calling you to embrace your heritage, ancestors and accept it as part of yourself, facing that hatred or resentment you hold - (narcissistic family members?) š
So as mentioned previously, the rune Othala could actually help you integrate the parts of your ancestors, heritage and eventually family that you rejected because of narcissistic abuse.
You grew up with dysfunctionality, yes, and that's never am excuse YET, you also incarnated here to not only BREAK FREE from these limitations and generational curses they had before... But to unconditional accept part of your human lineage as well, seeing the beauty of it.
ā”ļø Remember, you're an alchemist, never the sheep society wanted you to be.
Another example we have with the rune Fehu (į ).
For the rune's general meaning, people born under this one are naturally inclined towards wealth and success, with a strong drive to achieve abundance in both physical and energetic realms.
That's what the description says.
On the downside, people might struggle with recognizing the periods of growth of wealth and abundance, embracing resilience and adaptability when financial abundance for example, takes time to manifest.
You might be born with this rune and be thinking
š¤ "Elisaveta, this does not relate to me at all, I know money is evil and I always get the ick when I want to charge for my services."
š "Besides, my narcissistic parents and/or romantic partners left me with a bad taste for the money thing... I don't trust it."
š§ "I know if you are truly spiritual, you don't care about money."
... And this is where I know, your lesson lies. āļø
ā”ļø Because if the narcissist left you TRAUMATIZED with your relationship with money too and then boom, you check and see your birth rune is Fehu, then my dear friend, you need to stop rejecting it and accept both sides of the coin of life - the material and the physical.
Money is actually neutral energy too!
